Pelindaba Lavender Featured in Yachting Magazine

Our organically certified 100% pure Lavender Hydrosol is produced on our San Juan Island Farm during the steam distillation of essential lavender oil each year in late-August through September. Also known as floral water, it is an ideal means of bringing the all-natural antiseptic, cleansing and insect repellant properties of lavender essential oil to a wide range of personal care, household care and, in particular, boat care.

Capt. Richard Rodriguez says, "San Juan Island is home to Pelindaba Lavender, a premier grower of lavender plants and seller of handcrafted lavender products. One of its products is Organic Lavender Hydrosol, a virtually universal cleaner that I use on everything, from my iPad screen to the engine, from the galley to the head.”

Capt. Rodriguez goes on to write about making port in Friday Harbor,  San Juan Island and all the many services and things to do. To read the article in full...
